As Licensee , you'll take full responsibility for the smooth and profitable running of the venue. You'll be the face of the venue - leading from the front, motivating your team, and ensuring every guest leaves wanting to return. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations across bar, bistro, and events plus on-site accommodation. Lead, mentor, and inspire a passionate team to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Maintain strong financial oversight - including budgeting, cost control, and profitability with great support from head office. Ensure operational excellence through effective systems management ( Now Book It, Bepoz, Me&U, RMS ). Drive customer satisfaction through strong service standards and community engagement. Plan and execute local events and activations to grow the venue's profile. Ensure all licensing, safety, and compliance standards are met. What We're Looking For Proven experience in a senior hospitality leadership role (Licensee, Venue Manager, or similar). Strong financial acumen - you understand the numbers and know how to run a profitable venue. A natural people leader with a strong customer focus and genuine passion for service. Experience with key hospitality systems ( Now Book It, Bepoz, Me&U, RMS ). Excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive, hands-on approach and positive leadership style.
